Handmade Christmas puddings

We’ve been creating Christmas puddings since 2005. We take that job seriously and use the best ingredients available, with some coming from our own land. It’s what has made us a trusted name in New Zealand with repeat customers every year.

We’ve had the same baker for over a decade and she’s passionate about making our puddings. She creates them in small batches so quality control is strict. We use brandy in our recipe which imparts a lovely depth of flavour to them. Don’t worry, they are suitable for all ages as the alcohol is burned off during the cooking process.

They are then individually wrapped in a Christmas inspired fabric then tied with a tartan bow. Puddings in an eco-friendly box are also available for our largest size. People love receiving food around the holidays – it seems you can’t go wrong by gifting something delicious!

Christmas puddings made with Gluten free ingredients

We offer Christmas puddings made with gluten free ingredients and wrap them in a red cloth to designate the difference. They come in 300g, 600g and 900g varieties. Check out our selection of puddings in our online shop and then contact us directly if you’d like to place an order.

New products

We’ve also introduced new products so you have a larger range to choose from! We have partnered with Pōhutukawa Pantry and are now stocking delicious items such as Christmas Cake Truffles which have been carefully aged with brandy and coated in dark chocolate.

If Fruit Tarts are a favourite, we also offer a box of six which are perfect for giving! Blended and soaked in Kaiapoi Distillery’s crafted Sherry over a six-month period to produce the most complex and intense flavour, then encased in buttery short crust pastry.

Should you need a large cake for the office or to give as a special gift, our 1kg Traditional Christmas Fruit Cake will surely please everyone! These cakes receive very personalised attention over the twelve to twenty weeks before the cake reaches your Christmas table. During this time, the cakes are brushed with brandy three times and twice lavishly covered in Southland homemade apricot jam (Organic grown Apricots) blended with warm brandy and a touch of freshly squeezed lemon juice.

For those who enjoy Gluten and Dairy free treats, we also offer a Cathedral Cake weighing 450g and packed with glazed fruits and nuts.

Our puddings will bring back memories for everyone since we create ours from a tried and true recipe handed down over the generations. Using the freshest, locally sourced ingredients then matured over time, our puddings impart a superior flavour so you can taste the difference.

Different sizes to suit

We offer three different sizes of puddings

300g – just right for adding to a gift basket or as a delicious stocking stuffer!
600g – serves 6 people which is perfect for that small gathering.
900g – this can be boxed and makes a great festive gift.

We take pre-orders for Corporate and bulk orders mid-year so they have time to mature by Christmas. For all orders of 10 units or more, contact us directly for your corporate pricing.

We can personalize the gift for you, enclose a gift card of your design with a Christmas message and if required, arrange individual deliveries around New Zealand.

Nationwide shipping

We deliver your order to any address in New Zealand by a date you nominate. We can also send out the puddings directly on your behalf along with your personalized Christmas message.
