    About the Owners

The Christmas Pudding Factory was purchased in 2005 by Annie and Graeme Giles from a local Marlborough family who had created the business using their Grandmothers time honoured recipe.

The Christmas puddings fit well with their own fruit leather making business known then as “Annies” which was established in 1995. Both fruit leathers and Christmas puddings were based on a similar ethos of traditional foods, wholesome ingredients and handcrafted.

Annie takes care of the sales and marketing, Graeme is the one who fixes anything that needs fixing.

    About the Bakers

Rachael has been a part of the Christmas pudding family for over a decade. She is passionate about her part and involvement in the baking process. Rachael’s role is to see the freshest ingredients come in the door and go out the door as a delicious steamed pudding.

This includes mixing, rolling, steaming, maturing and wrapping each pudding she makes, including the cutting of the material, ribbon and tags. She takes great pleasure in knowing she can get the job done and that the customers are happy with the end product that they receive.

Cabie, Annie and Graeme’s daughter, has joined the Christmas Pudding team. Working alongside Rachael she is honing her Christmas Pudding baking skills and she is a whizz on the admin and dispatch side of things!
